In winning eleven 2011, you can adjust this by holding select and pressing R1 and R2 to increase or decrease your team’s attacking mentality. Teams with higher attacking mentality will push more players forward during attacks.
For corner kicks Winning Eleven 2011 trick, we can apply this adjustment as well. During attacking corner kicks, increase your team’s attacking mentality to flood the penalty box with players. Decrease it to have less players in the box and more players defending. When you are defending corner kicks, decrease the mentality to have more defenders, and increase it to leave more players upfield and prepare for a counter-attack.
This simple adjustment allows you to command your goalkeeper to make a run up during your attacking corner kick and fight for a late goal.
The on-the-fly settings offered in the winning eleven series give rise to another strategy. During attacking corner kicks, start off with default mentality. Increase the attacking mentality and you will see players rushing forward. This is ideal for you to play a corner right into the path of an in-rushing teammate. An in-rushing player tends to evade his marker and his header will be much more powerful. Thus, when you find a lack of options in the box, you can also decrease the mentality and command players to leave the box, before increasing the mentality again for your teammates to make runs in.

It does not matter whether your taker is right-footed or left-footed. Any decent free-kick taker can score no matter where the ball is.

Hold Down, Charge Up power to more than 1/4 but less than 1/2.
While powering up, hold Left/Right to select direction of curl. Curl right for right-footed and vice-versa
Hold Pass
Once power reaches desired level, release Shoot, while keeping Down, Left/Right, and Pass held down.
The ball will float over the wall into the side of the net, just past the keeper’s reach. The level of the power will determine whether the ball goes into the top, or bottom corner. Wherever it goes, it is still a goal!
There are two different approaches to long distance free kicks, Controlled shot, and powerful shot.
For controlled shot, repeat the steps for a near free kick, but this time, omit the holding of Down. There is no need to hold Down for long distances as it will reduce the power of your shot.
For powerful shot, repeat the steps for a near free kick, but this time, replace the holding of Down with the holding of Up, and instead of holding Pass, you hold Through Pass this time round.
